This is a lovely upscale small boutique located in Hopland. The hotel is a beautifully restored Victorian hotel established in 1890, offering a haven surrounded by the iconic Northern California hills and the Russian River landscape.

Vichy Springs Resort and Inn
Vichy Springs Resort, established in 1854, is a historic and unique hot springs resort and country Inn near Ukiah.
The resort offers simple rustic accommodations at local "champagne" hot springs. The only naturally warm and carbonated "Vichy" mineral baths in North America, perfect for unwinding. Room rates include full use of the mineral baths, a hot soaking pool, an Olympic-size swimming pool (in season), and access to a 700-acre private reserve for walking and hiking.

Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (STS)
The closest major airport to Ukiah is the Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (STS), located in Santa Rosa, CA. STS is served by airlines like Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and starting April 7, 2026, Southwest Airlines. The airport offers rental cars, and ground transportation options. It is a smaller, more relaxed alternative to the major Bay Area airports (SFO/OAK).
The driving distance from the airport to Ukiah is approximately 55 miles or about 1 hour.
We strongly recommend renting a car at the airport, as public transportation and ride-share options (Uber/Lyft) maybe limited within Mendocino County. For those who prefer an alternative, the Mendocino Transit Authority (MTA) runs a direct bus service (Route 65) twice daily between the airport and Ukiah's Pear Tree Center. Please check the STS Ground Transportation page or the Mendocino Transit Authority website for current schedules and fares.
San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
For guests requiring a broader selection of flights, San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major international hub, located approximately 128 miles from Ukiah.
Guests should expect a driving time of 2 hours and 15 minutes to 2 hours and 30 minutes without heavy traffic. Please be advised that travel times can significantly increase due to Bay Area congestion, particularly on weekends and during rush hour.
SFO offers all major rental car services, and securing a rental car is highly recommended for the entire trip, as public transport from SFO to Ukiah is lengthy (involving multiple transfers) and local ride-share options in Mendocino County are very limited.

For guests needing another major hub alternative, Oakland International Airport (OAK) is a full-service option on the east side of the San Francisco Bay. The distance to Yokayo Ranch in Ukiah is approximately 127 to 131 miles. The estimated driving time is typically 2 hours and 10 minutes to 2 hours and 30 minutes without heavy traffic. OAK offers all major rental car companies, and a rental car is essential for your trip.
Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
For other alternative major airport, Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is located approximately 128 to 135 milesfrom Ukiah. The drive from SMF to Yokayo Ranch takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on traffic and the route taken. SMF is a large, full-service airport with all major rental car companies available. As with all regional airports, securing a rental car is essential for your travel to Ukiah and throughout Mendocino County, as public transit and ride-share options are impractical or non-existent for this journey.
